NH Grade II Water Operator

Job requirements
• Onsite public water system evaluation and maintenance (over 50 small water systems)
• Service of submersible pumps, booster pumps, pump controls, water treatment
• Collection of water samples
• Monitor water system compliance protocols with NH drinking water regulations
• NH Water Works Grade II license is preferred, Grade 1 is required
• Experience with electrical systems preferred
• Experience with water treatment preferred
• Valid driver’s license
• Physical abilities such as trunk strength, manual dexterity, lifting or carrying heavy objects, and wrist-finger movement
• Have a “can-do” attitude, be dependable, prompt, courteous, detailed orientated, and a team player
• Possess excellent problem solving skills, strong intuition and foresight, and a drive to excel.
• Working conditions can be areas where movement is restricted or a dirty environment
• May be needed for “on call” responsibilities for weekends, holidays or in emergency situations.
• Full time position of 40+ hours per week

Water Treatment Technician – Secondwind Water Systems, Inc.

Seeking experienced plumbers and or a plumbing apprentice. Water Treatment experience a Plus
Installation, service, and support of residential and non-residential water treatment systems. Prepare and travel to customer sites as a regular part of the work. Be part of a team when installing larger scale systems.
Work a forty hour week with overtime as needed. 45 hour week is common.
Be prepared to attend training as needed with expenses paid by employer.
Job Requirements
This is a technical hands on position that requires skill with power and hand tools and related equipment with the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose using knowledge of water systems, various controls, water chemistry. Being a team player is important as the installations and projects often require several personnel on site. Customer relations skills are critical.
Education Requirements
Minimum requirement is a high school diploma. Technical training and/or experience in plumbing/pumps, hydraulics, controls, water treatment, and sampling would be helpful but not necessary. Related training/experience in construction practices, electrical, electronics would be beneficial.
The more you know about this industry and the more you can apply your knowledge, the more valuable you are to us.
We provide extensive training and development. Some training may require overnight stays.
Valid NH Driver’s license required.
This is a year round full time position. Tools are provided. Two weeks of paid time off after the first year with rapid accumulation and roll-over of unused time. Health Savings Account or HMO plan to choose from with generous employer contributions. 401K.

The North Conway Water Precinct: Is seeking a Superintendent with eight (8) plus years’ experience with running a municipal water and sewer utility. The North Conway Water Precinct is a separate municipal entity which holds its own annual meeting and levies its own taxes. The Precinct is governed by an elected three (3) member Board of Commissioners and is considered one of the most progressive utilities in the State. The current water and sewer system is state of the art and in exceptional condition. We are looking for a candidate with significant construction experience who can continue our path of excellence, said position requires a minimum Grade II Water Distribution and Treatment licenses and Grade III Wastewater License required, as well a bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university or any combination of experience and licensing. Environmental Compliance Manager

The City of Concord is seeking the right individual to fill the position of Environmental Compliance Manager. This position will work out of the Water Treatment Plant performing laboratory analyses including managing the State Certified coliform sampling Laboratory. Responsibilities will also include data collection and information gathering on all source water locations, surface and groundwater.

Job Summary: Performs technical laboratory analyses and technical work supporting the operations of a water filtration treatment plant including surface and ground water supplies.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school in Chemistry, Biology, or Environmental Science; and,

Two years of experience in laboratory analysis relating to water treatment plant; or,

Any combination of education, training and experience which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities required for the job.

Licenses and Certifications:
Current Grade II State of New Hampshire Water Treatment Plant Operators License.
Valid New Hampshire Driver’s License.

Starting Rate: $
